Absinthe Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is a woody perennial flowering yellow to 4 feet tall. Zones 4 to 9. This plant prefers a sunny position, and thrives best in well-drained soil. In the spring, sow seed in pots or directly in garden. Rough up seedbed, surface sow, tamp firmly and keep evenly moist and in the light until germination, which requires 1 to 3 weeks.
