Description
Wood Betony is an herbaceous perennial with red-purple flowering spikes to 2 to 3 feet tall. Zones 5 to 10. Plant prefers part shade to full sun and rich, moist, well-drained soil. Sow in early spring, in pots or directly in the garden. Barely cover seed, tamp firmly, and keep warm, evenly moist, and in the light until germ, which takes 1 to 3 weeks.
