Description
Red Clover is a nitrogen-fixing cover crop, flowering pink to 18 inches tall. Biennial in Zones 5 to 10. Sow in spring or summer. This plant does fine in regular garden soil in sun to part shade, scattered on a prepared seed bed, raked in, securely tamped, and kept evenly moist until germination, which takes 3 days to a week.
