Description
Mountain Arnica is a mounding herbaceous perennial with tiny yellow flowers. This plant thrives in moist, acidic, loamy soil in full sun to part shade. In mountain gardens, plant in full sun. In valley gardens, provide shade. This plant does well in pots and in rock gardens. In the spring, sow seed in acidic soil in pots or flats. Barely cover seeds with soil, tamp securely and keep warm, evenly moist, and in the light until germination, which takes up to 3 weeks. Space 6 to 12 inches apart.
