Description
Meadowsweet is a herbaceous perennial, flowering in open sprays of honey-scented cream to 4 feet tall. Zones 3 to 9. This plant prefers moist, rich soil in the sun to part shade. Sow seed in early spring, directly in the garden or greenhouse. Barely cover seed, tamp well and keep evenly moist until germination, which requires 3 to 6 weeks. Thin or transplant to 2 feet apart.
