Blue flowered Vervain is an herbaceous perennial growing to 5 feet tall. Zones 3 to 7. This plant prefers full sun to part shade and will thrive in home garden or disturbed ground in the sun to part shade. Sow seeds on surface, barely cover, and tamp well. Best to sow outdoors in early spring. Alternately, mix seed in moist medium and refrigerate for 2 weeks, then sow warm. Germinates in 2 to 4 weeks. Space plants 2 feet apart.
